Unit Manager/Senior Nurse (RGN/RMN) – West Midlands

Green Care Management is currently recruiting for a Unit Manager / Senior Nurse for a large nursing home based in the Wolverhampton area. The home is part of a recognised national care provider.

As Unit Manager, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the Dementia unit within this large nursing home for older people. Reporting into the Home Manager, your key duties will include:
*Providing a safe and stimulating environment for the residents
*Staff development and training
*Administering medication to the residents
*Acting as a role model for junior members of staff
*Ensuring that detailed care plans are kept and are compliant with industry and company regulations
*Liaising with residents’ families and external agencies i.e. GP’s, CQC, etc

You will be a registered nurse ideally RMN or RGN with extensive dementia experience ideally gained within a nursing home environment. You will be a highly motivated individual who can drive the team forward with effective management skills. Dynamic and outgoing.
