The Hospital
My client offers comprehensive private hospital care to patients in the West Midlands area. The hospital is looking for a nurse to join the surgical ward.

The Role
To work on the elective surgical ward

Main responsibilities:
Assess patient’s health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload. Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
Promotes best practice in health and safety and security
Assist in maintaining and developing services
Contribute to quality improvement.
Promote people equality, diversity and rights
Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Working hours: 37.5 working on a shift basis, not including nights

Experience needed
You will need to be a qualified RGN with at least 18 months experience working in a hospital environment ideally on a surgical or outpatients ward. You will need to be flexible towards working hours.
