Social Worker, Children and Families, Northampton

Our client requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Qualified Social Worker to join their integrated, multi-disciplinary team within Children & Families.

You will be required to be a team player, able to work closely with service users and a range of partners and providers. Duties will include:

• Complete Assessments
• Manage a Child Protection caseload
• Manage care plans
• Working as part of a team
• Participating in the Duty system as required
• Child Protection enquires and investigations
• To work with Children, siblings and family members
• To participate in team meetings
• Keeping accurate case records
• Ensuring set standards of policies and procedures are met and maintained
• Knowledge of Section 47’s, Child Protection, Court Procedures.
• Training and development activities as agreed by line manager

Candidates must hold DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent approved social work qualification and hold a HCPC registration.

HCL Social Care will complete your DBS Disclosure for free.

Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience within Children and Families.

The position is to start ASAP and is initially for 3 months to be reviewed ongoing.
