Description for Nurse Manager, London Nursing Services

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our team in our London Nursing Services as a Nursing Manager. The overall purpose of a Nurse Manager is to provide carers with line management support and to ensure they are providing a high quality service.

Duties Include:

• Recruitment and selection of appropriate care staff
• Interviewing and Assessing of applicants to the agency
• The conducting of staff appraisals
• Complaint handling including liaising with clients, midwives and following NMC guidelines

You will need to be a strong team player, be RGN registered or Band 6 equivelant with a minimum of three years experience as well as having current clinical experience. You will need to have experience of staff mentoring, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail. You must possess basic PC skills.
