Senior Healthcare Recruitment Consultant Job Colchester

We are looking for a results driven consultant with proven success in the Healthcare and/or Nursing sector.  The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the industry, solid business development acumen and be extremely self motivated.
Key Duties will include:
  • Developing new business opportunities by identifying, strengthening and developing relationships with existing and new clients
  • Managing the sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance
  • Proactively promoting candidates through candidate marketing calls, visits and mailshots
  • Enhancing the sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line with the company business development plan.
  • Preparing and facilitating the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment of candidates ensuring an accurate and appropriate database to meet all client needs.
  • Screening, interviewing, testing and assessing candidates in line with company standards, ensuring full and comprehensive understanding of their job and career requirements
  • Obtaining full job specifications and person specifications from clients, maximising each opportunity for placements
  • Visiting clients to obtain full job specs and ensure you have a full understanding of their business needs.
  • Effectively matching candidates to vacancies
  • Arranging interviews, ensuring full candidate and client briefing
  • Carrying out post placement checks, performance assessments etc
  • Regularly reviewing customer satisfaction levels to ensure that they are in line with expectations
  • To operate other desks in consultants absence, from time to time
  • To formulate, operate and monitor a Business Development Plan to increase business and revenue for Healthcare and Nursing
  • To deal with issues arising from day to day operation of desk
  • To comply with relevant legislation with regard to the supply of Healthcare and Nursing staff
  • Monitoring of all candidates training requirements, liasing with Compliance Team to organise required training courses and ensuring candidates attend these
  • To adhere to CQC and NMC procedures and guidelines, as well as Care Standards and Domiciliary National Minimum Standards where applicable
  • To work towards, meet and exceed targets set by the Company
  • To adhere to all of Swanstaff Recruitment’s policies and procedures.
