Winscombe is situated in peaceful surroundings on the edge of Kingswood village, set within its own landscaped grounds. The home is conveniently situated for local facilities and is easily accessible from Kingswood station and the M25.

This attractive, purpose-built home welcomes older residents who require nursing care. The home also offers care for short stays, palliative, convalescence and Parkinson’s disease care. We employ dedicated, well trained staff and registered nurses to provide 24-hour care and support in a professional and respectful way.

What we expect from you

As a level 1 Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN Number, you care about clinical excellence and believe in the importance of the right things, done well. Additional experience/qualifications will be an advantage but is not essential.

The impact you will have on residents’ lives will go far beyond care – promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect. As part of a team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care, you will get to know our residents, and their families, enabling you to deliver a personalised model of care. You will be involved in building close relationships between nurses, residents, families and healthcare professionals. We will also look to you to motivate and mentor your team, delivering teaching sessions and guiding the professional development of junior colleagues.
