Regional Home Care Manager Job Berkshire, South West

Anexcellent opportunity has arisen for a Regional Home Care Manager to join this market leading healthcare company.  The successful applicant will be responsible for all level one
care packages within the region, which covers the South West, South Wales, Berkshire and Hampshire.

You will be responsible for developing relationships throughout the multi-disciplinary teams in which you work and will work alongside the Operations Managers, Commissioning Managers and the Clinical services team in on-going business development for delivery in Homecare.

You will support Branch Managers, Senior Carers and Field Care Supervisors and be proactive in developing the skills of individuals within the health and Social Care teams.

Regional Home Care Manager Job Responsibilities:

To Ensure high standards of care are achieved in service delivery in line with company policies and procedures

Ensure all operational staff have knowledge of current policies, procedures and guidelines in use within the region that apply to their remit in relation to the support of level1 packages of care

Be pro-active during regional meetings, promoting a continuum of good communication and sharing of ideas.

Liaise with Commissioning Managers, Operational Managers and Clinical Services managers in relationship development with the service commissioners.

Keep abreast of current commissioning developments regarding the healthcare sector.

Take active role in recruitment and retention of care staff for clinical services.

Oversee the assessment, resourcing and implementation of new level one packages by
supporting and advising field care supervisors and Branch Managers where appropriate.

Compile and review detailed electronic care plans and risk assessment documentation,
where appropriate.

Assist and develop a training programme (within skill level) for all specialist training needs, and ensure evidence of signed competency for all care staff within Level One care packages in line with company guidance.

Advise and support the Branch Field.

Regional Home Care Manager Skills:
Must be a Registered Nurse (band 6 or equivalent)

Experience in community nursing

Minimum 3 years post qualification experience

Must have your own transport and able to travel

The successful applicant must be Registered Nurse with a current PIN number will have a diploma in nursing and will have a minimum of 4 years experience working at Band 6 or equivalent.  A full UK driving license and own transport is essential for this role
