LD Registered Manager Job Norwich, Norfolk

Salary: £23,000 – £25,300
Location: Norwich
Hours: 37 hours (23 hours on-rota with the staff team, and 14 hours off-rota) – flexibility around weekend/evening working will be required

Working within a 24/7 operation top include some nights, sleep ins and occasional weekends

LD Registered Manager Job Role:

Due to internal restructuring, we are urgently seeking to recruit a number of Service Managers or Home Managers who have experience of supporting adults and young adults with learning disabilities, or autism in a Supported Living environment.

The service manager will be managing one supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will be leading a small team of existing experienced staff across a multi disciplinary site. You will be responsible for driving person centred outcomes for residents with complex care needs.

You will ensure services are delivered in a way that puts the people they support at the centre of their care, promoting rights, choice, dignity and diversity.

You must demonstrate that you can think on your feet – this role is both challenging and exciting but it gives you an opportunity to truly make a difference. You will enthusiastically lead your team by example, giving support and guidance where appropriate, and you will also have the chance to develop your own skills, continually building upon your already solid management experience

LD Registered Manager Job Application criteria:

You must be educated to at least NVQ 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent with a proven track record of Managing this type of service

You should have excellent experience of working with learning disabilities and have a true, person centred approach to your work

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

You must have a strong and decisive personality and work efficiently when under pressure

You need strong communication skills with the ability to bring disparate teams together, encouraging collaborative working and building trust, achieved through excellent people management

Superb problem solving skills and a calm approach when managing challenging situations

Patience, diplomacy, good IT skills,

Exceptional time management, organisational and planning skills
