Description for Home Care Worker / Support Worker

Home Care Worker / Support Worker

Home care workers or support workers needed to provide care in service user’s own homes.

Must have own car and a full license.

To work in and around the Milton Keynes area.

Full paid training given. Experience not needed but preferred.

Access provided to QCF Level 2.

Purpose Of The Position

To meet the personal needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. Care provided by care workers is expected to include care that would be reasonably given by the members of the service users’ own family and not expected to include tasks that would normally be expected to be undertaken by a trained nurse.
