GP – Dagenham, Essex

HCL Permanent are currently looking for GPs to work for NHS GP Practice in Dagenham,Essex.

You will be providing the NHS Primary Medical Services to the patients registered to the GP practice. You will be treating temporary residents and patients presenting for immediately necessary treatment including clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment and referral as appropriate.

To undertake screening procedures.
To provide telephone consultations as required.
To demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skills in clinical decisionmaking.

To promote health initiatives (e.g. influenza vaccination, cervical cytology screening, etc) actively to patients, both during consultations and through liaison with administrative staff on promotional techniques.
To conduct consultations in a clear, concise and timely manner.

ROTA
Weekly hours as agreed.
To participate in a clinical rota that embraces extended hours actual start/finish times to be worked in accordance with the published roster, this will include early, late and some weekend working.
Standard session (4 hours 20 minutes (subject to rota requirements):
Each standard session will include at least 18 face to face appointments maybe more at busier times.
‘Duty’ doctor:
Duties include prescriptions, home visits and supporting the nursing team.

Experience

One year’s experience in UK general practice.
Current full GMC Registration
Inclusion in the GMC GP Register
Evidence of CPD and further education/training
Evidence of professional updating
Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners
