Deputy Care Home Manager Shaftesbury – Elderly Care

We are looking for a Deputy care home Manager who has a passion for caring for the elderly to assist in the running of this small home near Shaftesbury in Dorset.

You will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in overseeing and maintaining the care of Service Users within the Home. To safeguard an promote the welfare of the service users and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with National Minimum Standards.  In the absence of the Home Manager, to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Home, and ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements, are adhered to within the defined timescales.

You will need to have a high standard of English, both spoken and written and numerical accuracy is also important.

You will also need:
They should also have a minimum qualification of NVQ level 4/RMA or LMC in Heath and Social Care or appropriate equivalent.
Must have previous experience in the role
Must be able to complete satisfactory CRB/POVA checks
Must be authorised to work in the EEC.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Must be able to provide 2 employment references
Must reside near the vacancy location or be prepared to relocate
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Good understanding and practice of the CQC code of conduct
